The first and best thing to do is get on a budget where you are giving a name to every penny, don't let you're money go somewhere without you telling it where to go. And don't give up on doing the budget, more than likely it wont work out the first month or two when you're learning how much money you really need for what. @Brian I am so excited for y'all to go through Total Money Makeover! It will be tough with the pay cut, but it will be possible too. When Tim and I sat down and did our budget (took 3 months for it to start working correctly 'cause we didn't know where we spent our money) we cut out all unnecessary things such a cable, gym membership and rhaposdy membership. We miss the church so much since we moved down to St. Cloud! The church we are currently attending is doing Financial Peace starting tomorrow. We want to do it, but don't have the money for the class fee. I absorb as much Dave Ramsey info as I can, because it's such a positive and NECESSARY piece of information to have.
